Bar 11 is a beautiful building and in the summer time there is an outside area with awnings making it great for summer evenings drinking with your friends. The layout is sophisticated and you can easily spend hours in this place and be very comfortable.
Another Canterbury gay bar is Westbar which is situated on St Peters Street and offers a refreshing atmosphere with three seating areas. One area is a lounge type area with a great layout and the décor is new and fresh. They have a great cocktail menu and the place is very good for meeting with friends before you head on to a club or bar that opens later. Canterbury have a wide range of gay friendly bars and clubs available for you to visit and most of the bars are in a great condition and offer friendly and welcoming atmospheres.
